Lost in daydreams my heart still dances
To shod horse rhythms on Staked Plain
And lively refrains of rain on baked earth.
My soul still soars with red-tailed hawks
And surrenders to eternity in azure skies
Adrift among gossamer mansions of clouds.
My spirit still finds boundless inspiration
In memories of sage on windswept prairie
And meadowlark song in cool sunrise mists.
