On the heels of heavy rain and gale force winds, our motley weather pattern dishes up a measure of comfort with crystal clear skies and brisk arctic airs. It's hard to resist the call of the wild, albeit somewhat tamed in Jordan Lake environs. My outing inspires affectionate encounters with the aftermath of recent raw weather.
