When affection fades,
Bruised heart yearns for wholeness—
Free will shepherds change

In defiance of raw March weather, clay soils, meager rainfall albeit an abundance of sunshine, jonquils fulfill their desire for affection to be reciprocated by human eye and heart. Sprawled along the edge of a park woodland, they buoy and lead bruised hearts on quests of introspection towards the moss-covered solitude of a rustic gazebo.
